How do you go about examining the Kabbalah as an option for study?
There are a number of options, including finding an individual teacher who is recognized as a Kabbalah expert, or one can approach an institution like the Kabbalah Center, which is a very successful organization. They have many courses, taught by Rav Berg, his wife Karen Berg and others.
At the very least check out the Kabbalah Centre to see if this is an option.
