Kabbalah Center Established in 1922 in Jerusalem

In Jerusalem, before the modern State of Israel was established, Rav Yehudaoldjerusalem Ashlag taught the Kabbalah to his students at the beginning of the 20th century. In the year 1922 Rav Ashlag established the first Kabbalah Centre in Jerusalem. When he died Rav Yehuda Brandwein took over leadership of the center and continued to teach the great, ancient wisdom of the Kabbalah.

Before the passing of Rav Brandwein into the next world, he gave Rav Berg the mandate to continue the work of the Kabbalah Centre. Rav Berg, along with his wife Karen, have carried out the mission that was entrusted to them, and now the Kabbalah Center has branches throughout the world. It is possible to learn Kabbalah at the center closest to where you live,  in a study group or to learn on-line and over the phone. Karen and Rav Berg have taken the torch of teaching Kabbalah from their teacher and are passing the message on to the rest of the world.
